CyberSec & AI brings together some of the smartest minds in academia from across Europe and the US this October.

Alongside presentations and panels from global specialists in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and machine learning, the conference will also play host to a Poster Session where selected students and researchers can present their work.

Since the initial call went out for proposals in late July, Avast and CTU have received proposals from across Europe.

“We’ve been incredibly impressed with the quality of the Poster Session submissions we’ve received so far,” said Rajarshi Gupta, VP, Head of AI at Avast. “One of the key objectives of CyberSec & AI was to give students and researchers a platform to present their work and reach an informed and connected audience. Similarly, we know that speakers and delegates will appreciate getting first-hand insight into a range of exciting and progressive projects driving the future of cybersecurity and AI.”

The Poster Session will see up to fifteen of the best proposals presented on posters at the conference. More about the submission process can be found here

Topics for submissions include:

  • New advancements in Adversarial AI in the domain of security
  • Security as a unique challenge for AI
  • Use of AI in consumer security (PCs, Mobiles, IoT)
  • Security of AI: Model training and evaluation techniques for maximum protection
